Everything that is not the job.

  • Home base

I grew up in Golden, Colorado, which explains the Broncos and the Nuggets. I went to Kansas for college, which explains the Jayhawks. Work kept me in Kansas City.

  • On the court

Pickleball with Phoenix, a friend from college, and with my brother, who moved to Kansas City after he graduated.

Why this site is mostly white

When I moved to Kansas City, my aunt, an interior designer, helped me furnish my first place. I kept picking white. She said that was fine: mostly white, and a pop of color here and there. White couch, white walls, then bright blue dining chairs and loud pillows. It turns out I never wanted all white. I wanted what white does to color. This site works the same way.
